Double Your Likes Review + Bonus

What an awesome idea for increasing your “likes” on facebook…

It’s pretty clear that Facebook is here to stay, and almost all businesses should take advantage of it by creating a page of some kind.  When creating your “fan page” on facebook the main focus should be on getting the visitors to “like” your page.

If you are not implementing anything that will get the visitors to like you page they will most like visit once and never come back.  If you can get them to like your page you will be able to connect with them at any time by posting an update which will be on their news feed.

When you create your facebook page it will default all visitors to land on your wall page where your updates are.  That’s cool, they will see your most recent comments or offers or whatever.  Yeah that’s great but when they leave your page you will never have contact with them again unless they stumble across your page again.

What you can do, that many people don’t implement (or know about yet), is have the visitors that haven’t liked your page yet land on a separate landing page.  On this page you have an image created where you tell them to click the “like” button with a little arrow to the like button (it works best if you give them something in exchange – example: a real estate agent could say “click like to get access to VIP home listing in Toronto, Ontario”).

OK that is one step that will easily increase the amount of people who like your page, but I have come across a special code that will even further increase your facebook likes. The product is called “Double Your Likes“, but I think it will at least triple your facebook likes if you are just having visitors land on your wall currently.

The Double Your Likes code implements the landing page idea, but in a very unique way.  These guys are going to make a lot of money selling this awesome tool.  It’s kind of hard to explain it here but I will do my best…

They’ve created a tool where you can create an image like we talked about above that instructs the visitors to click the like button.  Once the visitor clicks “like” they stay on the current page but a new image will “magically” appear in the place of the old image that you can link out to your website from.

So you could start with something that says “click like to get access to VIP home listing in Toronto, Ontario”.  When the visitor clicks “like” that image disappears and another image appears that says “Congrats, you now have access to VIP listings – Click Here” and you could link that button your website where you have your home listings.
