Again I’ve thrown together another very quick review of a new product I’ve recently picked up for video productions for my websites – the Bamboo Pen Tablet by Wacom.
I purchased this off of Amazon for a little over $100 I believe and it is definitely worth the price. I’ve already used the Bamboo Tablet in a couple videos for my websites where I want to demonstrate numbers and other things.
I’ve found it to be a lot better than using an actual real whiteboard and making videos with yourself in them writing on the whiteboard. The Bamboo really makes it more efficient.
I guess it depends on what type of website you run, but for my sports betting websites where I sometimes need to display odds or numbers it is perfect. You could also use it for video presentations where you want to write out key points that you’re trying to get across, or draw animations, graphs, etc to get your point across.
Remember website visitors love videos, so it wouldn’t hurt buying the Bamboo Tablet for a reasonable price at Amazon and giving it a shot. You will need a screencast program on your computer (I use ScreenFlow) and you can use the built-in microphone on your computer or purchase a USB mic (I use and reviewed the Yeti Mic that I recommend).
Again clearly nothing too special in my video review of the product, but I wanted to give a first hand look at how I use it and just let people know that I do recommend it.
