New Home Office Pictures
Although it has been like 2.5 months since I moved into my new house I have finally decided to get some pictures up here at the blog of my new house, and my office that I spend most of my day in working.
Once I have a little more free time I might do a short video tour as it is easier to get a feel for the office/house in a video than pictures, but my girlfriend took some good pictures that I’ll post below…
Here is the front… driveway isn’t done yet. Got a nice sized two-car garage, which is awesome to have compared to the standard 1 or 1.5 car garage.
This was just a few days after the sod was laid. I will be putting up a fence in the spring, and then next on the list is a nice deck or patio and maybe a hot tub or something.
Here is a shot of the kitchen – one of my favorite rooms of the house. I went for a contemporary look and got a nice granite counter top too. From the kitchen sink you can see into the TV room because I got it switched to a half wall so it is somewhat opened up (makes the house look bigger).
Here is the view from the doorway of the home office. As you can see I have a a chair set up beside my desk if my girlfriend wants to come chill or watch TV while I’m working. I bought this new “L” desk that I love. Gives me lots of room for my monitors plus anything else.
And finally a picture of my office from the corner, where you can see my 47″ LED flat screen mounted. I got this mounted at the perfect height so I can see over my iMac screen. As you can see in the picture I have my iMac with a dual monitor setup to the right (usually use the 2nd monitor for Skype). Anytime I am working and want to watch TV I can pretty much do both at the same time and only have to glance up to see the TV. You can also see my two whiteboards up on the wall. I keep “$1,000,000″ posted on there always because my goal is to make a million in a year at some point. I also have my “dream board” – which right now is just my yearly income goal and some pictures of things that I can get myself if I hit that goal (a nice vacation spot, and a theatre type TV room which I want to set up when I finish my basement).
Overall I LOVE living in a house that I own. I spent the last few years having my computer (“office”) in my bedroom and it was the worst feeling spending like 20 hours a day in one room. I love being able to wake up, walk over to my office, head downstairs, back up to my office and watch TV/work, etc, etc. I also love the fact I can just shut the door and work without distractions if I want.

Man the new house and office look great! The wife built me an office next to the house when I left my corporate gig. I’m still waiting on the DirectTV satellite people to come out and hook up the satellite out there though, so I haven’t been spending a ton of time out there. I just like/need background noise.
Even at my corporate office I had satellite TV, so I am just use to use. A lot of time now I work either in my bedroom, or in the living room.
Also, started to hit you up a few times, I have a hell of a time goal setting daily and getting real work done. I have no issue getting things knocked out for clients, but my own sites have been suffering and I think its starting to catch up to me. I’ve got to learn to do a better job being disciplined.
Anyway, great post, great pics. Thanks man
