Dropout Got Rich Launched – Internet Marketing Tips Blog

Today marks the launch of my new affiliate blog “Dropout Got Rich”.

Well the truth is I am not anywhere close to “rich” in my standards, but this is more of my journey to becoming wealthy as an internet marketer.

My name is Kevin, and I have been doing part-time internet marketing for the past three years while in school.  I finally decided that finishing college was not for me, and I wanted to start my career in internet or online marketing.

I LOVE the idea of owning my business and knowing that if I fail it is my own doing, and of course if I succeed and become very wealthy it was my own doing.  I have full confidence in myself making a very good living online, and this blog will be a good place for me to document my “journey”.

On my blog I will include internet marketing tips, affiliate tips, rambling of my day to day life, and anything else I feel like I want to right about.  It is simply a place where I can write and not have to really think much about what I’m writing.

I will save most of my “about me” talk for a separate page, but seeing this is the first post here I will include a little more information about who I am…

Like I said my name is Kevin.  I am from Canada and I am 22 years old at the time of this launch.  I got into the internet marketing (specifically affiliate stuff) when I was 19 and attending University.

When I was about 16 a buddy of mine had told me that he was making a couple thousand each month working as a “poker affiliate” – it sounded awesome and I wanted to learn more, but once I figured out that you needed to know how to run a website I was completely lost.  I pretty much gave up at that time.  Fast forward 3 years and I was enrolled in a Computer Science class in University where I learnt how to make a website.

I went back to the forums he showed me and starting posting a bunch of questions and within a few months was generating my first income as an affiliate.

Time has flown, and I have since decided that school wasn’t for me and recently dropped out.  I am making a comfortable living right now, but I have some big goals and I know that if done properly Internet Marketing can take me there….
