In this post I’m going to tell you about a product I’ve used for the past roughly 2 years that is now helping me make roughly $100,000 per year (estimated).
It isn’t a magic get rich quick software or something that doesn’t take any effort to make money with, but I can guarantee it will be one of the better investments you’ve made into your own online business.
The product = Aweber (@ www.aweber.com)
Aweber is simply an email marketing service, but I can almost guarantee it will help 9 out of 10 online marketers make money.
If you are unsure what “email marketing service” means, basically this is a service that allows you to collect and store your visitors information (email + whatever else you want collect) and then send out mass emails to them (which you can personalize to make it look like a 1 to 1 email).
Each time someone visits your website you are pretty much given just one chance to convert that visitor into a sale (whether it be your own sale or a click through an affiliate link). If they click the “back” button and don’t return to your site you have lost out on that sale and aren’t making any money of that visitor.
Well what if you could contact that visitor and direct them back to your site.
Example: Maybe they were searching for a review of Pokerstars, came upon your site, didn’t like what they saw and left. What if you could email them the next day and ask them to check out your Titan Poker review. Maybe they love what they see in that review and they end up signing up for an account at Titan Poker – netting you $150 in profits.
That right there is the beauty of email marketing. You can contact your potential customers or clients whenever you want via email.
Email marketing is referred to a lot of internet marketers as a “money printing machine”. When you build up a list of potential customers you can sit down, write an email with a call to action for a sale (or click through to an affiliate link), hit send and watch the sales roll in.
It may not be that easy, but pretty close.
There are a lot of email marketing tips I will share either in posts here or within the internet marketing ebook I plan to publish here at DropoutGotRich.com, but it isn’t hard to get started and start testing things out yourself.
I’ve used Aweber email marketing on my casino, sports betting, and workout related websites and have been successful at collecting my visitors information in each separate niche. Now whenever I want I can send out a relevant email to that specific niche. If I choose I can include a link to a product of mine (if I have one within the niche) or an affiliate link and make money from each email.
You can’t expect to make money with each email you send out, and I highly recommend not being too “salesy” in most of your emails, but when the time is right you can blast your list with an offer and make yourself some money.
Quick tips: provide good content, only try to get a “sale” 1 in every 5 emails at the very minimum, stay relevant, and be personal and be yourself (get them to like you).
Alright now head over to Aweber.com and sign up for a $1 trial account now to get started. You’ll thank me down the road.
Check this out: If you sign up for Aweber through my affiliate link (this link) add me on Skype and I will answer some questions you have about email marketing whenever they come up. I have like 2 years experience with this stuff and can probably give you a few helpful pointers that will make you more money.
If you want a more information on how Aweber works opt-in to the form below (you can unsubscribe at any time, but I know you’ll find this useful)….

My name is Kevin. I am a college dropout turned full time internet marketer. Ignore the site name for now - I make a very comfortable living online but am no where near what I think of as "rich". Follow my progress and enjoy my internet marketing tips and ramblings.

I’d like to do email marketing for a local pizza restaurant. How would you recommend I get started?

Are you in contact with them and they want to do it? Or you just want to present them with the idea?

I love Aweber too, but I am still surprised that so many sign-ups either don’t open the mail (60-70%), or complain (less than 1%) about it, after having verified their subscription to my newsletter. And this while I am sending exactly what they expect, and most definitely not too often (about once every 2 months).
But the tool is great, and compared to MailChimp they DO in fact ALLOW gambling.

Yeah, a good open rate is somewhere around 30-40%. One of your problems is that when you are sending once every 2 months is that the people won’t remember you or remember signing up for your emails. Maybe try to be a little more regular (every 2 weeks or something)?
